Ukrainian women have always been known as one of the most beautiful, intelligent and brave women in the world. There is even no need to introduce them, as they are definitely best known, mostly googled and highly admired women for all times.
Ukrainian women guarantee your pleasant walks in the country. Especially in the city centers, you’ll see stunning women mostly on high heels on every step. Yeah, Ukrainian young women always tend to look gorgeous despite it’s hot or it’s snowing heavily.

The vivid reflection of this fact is the Ukrainian women’s rights group femen which is actively fighting for gender equality and is never afraid of raising its voice. I have to admit that Ukrainian femens are not always accepted by all feminists. That has an explanation too.
Feminism is the general term, which aims a reaching equal rights for both women and men. There are, let’s say different “types” of feminists, who call themselves with different terms. Ukrainian Women Have Their Own “Feminists” | Women’s Right Group Femen
Talking about women and feminism in the Ukraine, it is so impossible not to mention that radical feminist activist group, intended to protect women’s rights, called “Femen”.
The organization is admitted controversially throughout the world, however, today it is one of the most recognized International organizations. Femen was founded in Ukraine and but after persecutions, they base in Paris now.
Femens became well-known after the topless protest against sex tourism, religious institutions’ sexism, and homophobia. Women’s Rights group femen describes itself as an organization which aims at fighting against patriarchy in the society.
Ukrainian Women’s Rights group femen got to it’s the pick of popularity when a number of young Ukrainian women appeared topless during the Hanover Trade Fair when Russian president Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel were present.
Femens call the actions of the organization as “sextremism”. This new term they described as a fight against gender inequality in Ukraine. They state that every Ukrainian woman has a right to create a successful future without gender gaps and stereotypes.

Olga Belkova | Politician & Economist
Olga Belkova is a famous Ukrainian politician and economist. Today Olga is ranked one of the most successful and influential women in Ukraine. Being only 42 years old, Olga has been actively building her career path in Ukraine starting from 1996.
Beginning her career as a registrar and accounting specialist for Cherkassy center of certification auctions, Olga is a member of Parliament of Ukraine since 2012. In 2014, Olga was re-elected in Ukrainian parliamentary elections. The main political and social activities done by Olga are aimed to integrate Ukraine into the global community.
She is constantly organizing projects supervising grantmaking programs and is working with some of the most popular international organizations. Olga has even a private project, the aim of which is to encourage Ukrainian students to study abroad and get a different practice. They try to handle them grants and scholarships
More Talented Ukrainian in Politics | Lilia Hrynevich
Lilia Hrynevich is a Ukrainian politician and one of the most popular female leaders in Ukraine. Starting from 2016, Hrynevych is the Minister of Education and Science in Ukraine.
Lilia started her career working in the sphere of secondary education in Ukraine working as a teacher, deputy headmistress and headmistress in a number of Lviv schools of Ukraine. Hrynevich is also known as one of the founders of Ukraine Center for Educational Quality Assessment.
Later, in 2006, she became the director and focused her main efforts on reaching the development of external independent assessment on a national level. Lilia has a number of awards. By the way, she is also an Honorary Senator of Ukrainian Catholic University.
The Role Model of Ukrainian Women | Yulia Tymoshenko
When I hear word Ukraine, woman, feminine, politics, successful women, I subconsciously start thinking about Yulia Tymoshenko. I’m sure I’m not alone here. She is an iconic woman in politics.
Yulia was the first woman to be appointed as the Prime Minister of Ukraine. Tymoshenko was ranked not only one of the most successful women in Ukraine but also in the world. In 2005, Tymoshenko was in the list of Forbes magazine among world’s most powerful women.
After the famous Maidan, Tymoshenko decided to run for president. Even though her rival, Petr Poroshenko won the elections, Tymoshenko got the second largest number of votes among other candidates. So did she in 2010, when Viktor Yanukovich was elected.
The political career of Yulia Tymoshenko has always been full of controversies, though. A number of criminal cases were brought against her after 2010 presidential elections. Later in 2011, she was convicted of embezzlement and power abuse. Tymoshenko was sentenced to 7 years in prison and ordered to pay 188 million dollars to the state.
The prosecution and conviction of Yulia Tymoshenko raised disagreement among various international institutions. Some of them were like the European Union were pretty sure that the prosecution of Tymoshenko was politically biased. The European Union Repeatedly called full release of Yulia Tymoshenko as a condition for signing EU Association Agreement the US and International organizations such as human rights Watch and Amnesty International.
Finally, after the great a force of such International institutions, Tymoshenko was released at 2014, during the days of Euromaidan Revolution. Through the name of Yulia Tymoshenko is raising a lot of controversies today, she’s considered one of the most powerful women in Ukraine.
We are not here to judge her political activities but to state the fact that she is young powerful beautiful and successful enough to be admired. This lady definitely deserves to be included in the list of most successful Ukrainian women.
Ukrainian Women Are not Afraid to Specialise in The Most Dangerous Intellectual Profession | Oksana Sokolova
